Flowers You Can Feel Good About Bringing Inside.
Did you know that most grocery store flowers are treated with heavy pesticides and shipped thousands of miles in refrigerated containers? At KC Farm Stand, we believe flowers should be as healthy as they are beautiful. Our blooms are grown using regenerative practices—no synthetic chemicals or harsh sprays. This means they are safe for your children to smell, safe for your pets, and safe for the pollinators that call our farm home. From our early summer Zinnias to our peak-season Autumn Sunflowers, every stem is cut by hand and placed in water within minutes of harvest.
Limited Weekly Harvests

Common Questions
When does the season start?
Our season begins "slow and sweet" in April with the arrival of our spring bulbs—Tulips and Daffodils. As the weather warms, we move into the elegant textures of Alliums, Iris, and Peonies. By mid-summer and through the first frost in October, we ramp up into our full rows of vibrant annuals and native pasture blooms. There is truly something beautiful to discover in every month.
How do I actually buy flowers?
Because we only harvest what is at its peak, we don't keep a permanent stock. Every Thursday morning, we send a "First Bloom" notification to our email and text community. This preview lets you know what's blooming that weekend so you can claim your favorite arrangement for weekend pickup or delivery.
Can I add flowers to my Beef or Lamb order?
Absolutely! Adding a Farm Stand Jar or a larger bouquet to your meat delivery is a wonderful way to hit the free delivery threshold. It’s the easiest way to fill your home with both fresh color and pasture-raised protein in one trip.
What do I need to bring for pickup?
To keep our farm eco-friendly and our prices accessible, we don't include vases with our bouquets.
- For the Farm Stand Jar, please bring a quart-sized mason jar.
- For the Holt Harvest or Grand Pasture, we recommend a wider-mouthed vase or a large ceramic crock.
We’ll have your flowers resting in water when you arrive, ready to be tucked into your own container for the ride home.
Can I request specific flowers?
One of the best parts of "Slow Flowers" is the surprise! While we can't promise specific blooms (we're at the mercy of the bees and the sunshine), we do promise that every arrangement is gathered to be the most beautiful representation of what is currently peaking on the farm.
Do the flowers come from your land?
Every single stem. We grow our specialties in dedicated rows and sustainably forage unique textures and wild blooms from our 138 acres of native pastures right here in Holt, Missouri.
